Di1 — Edge AI Camera SoC
From cameras that just watch
to cameras that decide.
Inference runs on the device — nothing goes to the cloud. Di1 puts high-accuracy edge AI inside your product, and we stay with you from design through volume production.

WHY DI1
Built for the constraints edge products actually face.
Power. Cost. Size. Security cameras and drones live inside hard limits — and still have to deliver real AI performance on the spot.
That is exactly what Di1, our edge AI camera SoC, was designed for.
-
01 / EDGE AI
Inference that stays on the device
AI runs on the device; video never leaves it.
Low latency and low bandwidth keep the decisions coming, even where the network doesn’t.on-device · low latency
-
02 / POWER
Low power by design
A power budget built for fanless, compact enclosures.
Stable outdoors, embedded, or airborne on a drone.fanless ready
-
03 / COST
Lower BoM cost
System cost optimized against competing modules — a BoM that holds up at production pricing.
-
04 / SOFTWARE
AI that runs out of the box
Sample software for object detection, face recognition and ANPR, plus ONVIF middleware: the shortest path from evaluation to production code.

Target Applications
Three markets, clearly in focus.
Di1 targets the three markets where real-time AI video processing at the edge changes the economics.
-
01 / SECURITY
Security cameras
Object detection, face recognition and ANPR run on the camera itself. ONVIF drops it straight into the VMS and recording infrastructure you already have.

02 / DRONE
Drones
Low power and small enough to fly. Di1 keeps seeing and deciding in real time, even when the link goes down.

Use case
"From “Watching” Video to “Searching” It with Words Leveraging a Di1-powered board and LLM/VLM technologies, video content is transformed into searchable text information, enabling vast amounts of video data to be organized and utilized as a searchable database. Using a VLM (Vision Language Model), the system analyzes people, objects, scenes, situations, and actions captured in video and converts the visual content into natural-language descriptions. By storing this generated information in a database, the system enables users to quickly search for specific scenes using natural-language queries—eliminating the need to manually review large volumes of video footage to find the desired moment. Achieving Advanced Image Sensing with Stereo Cameras and Edge AI We can build an image sensing system that combines stereo cameras with an AI processing board equipped with Di1. By utilizing image data captured by two cameras, the system can acquire distance and depth information for objects that are difficult to capture with monocular cameras. Furthermore, by combining this system with Di1’s edge AI processing, you can configure a system that performs recognition and analysis at the edge without sending image data to the cloud. From Cameras That Simply “See” to Sensing That “Measures Distance, Recognizes, and Makes Decisions” Through a board design that combines stereo cameras, a CPU, and an AI accelerator, this solution enables deployment in applications requiring advanced image sensing, such as robotics, AMRs, industrial equipment, and surveillance systems."

What teams ask before they commit.
- Both analog HD (TVI / TP2853 family) and IP cameras. Sample software covers object detection, face recognition and ANPR, and ONVIF middleware connects Di1 to existing VMS and recording platforms. Request the datasheet for the full picture.
- Beyond SoC supply, we offer arrangements matched to your application and volume. Terms depend on the scale of the project, so let’s discuss yours directly — we’ll cover evaluation-phase costs at the same time.
- We scale with you, from a handful of evaluation units to full production. Our distributor network in Japan, Taiwan, India, the US and Europe supports supply and production in each region. Talk to us for specific quantities and lead times.
- Evaluation kits are available on loan or for purchase. Apply from the Evaluate section and a representative will confirm your requirements and arrange it. Hands-on validation with the sample software starts here too.
- A dedicated FAE (field application engineer) supports you from design through production. For projects outside Japan, the authorized distributor in your region provides local support.
- Any company that fits one of the five partner categories — Distributor, ODM, ISV, System Integration or Sensors & Devices. Accept the program terms online, submit the application form, and join once approved. Fully paperless. See the program terms for details.
